Editorial Policy

This page explains how we research, write, review and update content on Lung Secret. Readers make health and money decisions based on what we publish, so we hold ourselves to these standards.

How we research

  • We start with authoritative sources: US agencies such as the CDC, NIH (including PubMed and MedlinePlus), FDA and FTC; the American Lung Association and American Cancer Society; and systematic reviews such as Cochrane. UK sources such as the NHS are used as a secondary note for UK readers.
  • We open every source we cite to check that it loads and supports the claim. If we can’t verify something, we leave it out or say clearly that it is unverified.
  • We separate what studies show from what marketing says. We say when evidence is early, small, in animals or test tubes, or mixed.

How we choose and review products

  • We look at label transparency, ingredient doses, whether a product uses a hidden “proprietary blend”, third-party testing, refund terms and price per month.
  • We never say or imply that a supplement treats, cures, prevents, diagnoses or reverses any disease.
  • We only say we tested a product if we did. Our current reviews are desk-based assessments of available label information, seller terms and published ingredient research. We do not assign numerical product ratings or claim to rank clinical effectiveness.
  • We check ingredient safety and interaction information against sources such as NIH, NCCIH and MedlinePlus.
  • Affiliate commissions do not affect verdicts. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Medical review

We do not currently have a medical reviewer. When a qualified professional reviews a page, we will name them and their credentials in the byline and record the review date. We will never imply medical review that did not happen.

How we use AI tools

We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and formatting. B Mishra is responsible for the website’s editorial decisions. AI output is not medical review, and this site does not claim review by a medical professional.

How often we update

We aim to update guides and reviews when relevant research, product information or safety guidance changes. Each article shows its update date. A date is not a guarantee that every product detail remains unchanged; confirm current labels, prices and terms with the seller.

Corrections

If you find an error, contact us with the page and, if possible, a source. We check every report. When we make a significant correction, we update the page and its date.

Independence

Lung Secret is owned by Gadget Armor Ltd and is supported by affiliate commissions. Commercial links are disclosed so readers can assess that relationship. Product reviews should distinguish verifiable details from marketing claims and explain material limitations.
