These free tools help you understand your habits, your smoking history and the real cost of supplements, and give you a simple way to practice breathing exercises. Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored, and none of them can diagnose a health condition.

How we build our tools
- Based on published sources. The pack-year formula follows the National Cancer Institute definition. Screening information comes from the US Preventive Services Task Force and the CDC. Quit-smoking milestones come from the American Cancer Society. Each tool page lists its sources.
- Private by design. The tools are simple scripts that run on your device. There are no accounts, and your answers are not saved.
- Honest about limits. A score, number or timeline can’t tell you whether you have a lung condition. Each tool says what it can and can’t do.
- No sales pitch. The habits quiz never recommends a supplement, and the cost calculator reminds you that the cheapest product isn’t automatically the best.
Which tool should I use?
- Want a quick overview of your habits? Start with the habits quiz.
- Smoke now or used to? Use the pack-year calculator before talking to your doctor about lung cancer screening.
- Recently quit? The recovery timeline shows what typically changes over time.
